Military and Navy
etna is approved as a supplier of NBC filters and particulate filters for the German armed forces and NATO. etna protect stands for the highest levels of reliability and security. We also use different filter systems in the military and the navy. Among other things, the frigates type F123, F122, F124, F125, the task force supplier Tender, the main battle tank Leopard 2 and the transport tank Fuchs have been equipped with individual protective air systems.
SUBS Central Command for Maritime Emergencies
The water protection ships of the German coast guard in Cuxhaven are equipped with a protective air system from etna. In the event of an accident, this ensures that the air is filtered – so that the rescue workers can carry out their important work without hindrance. For example, in the event of a fire in the open sea, the fire fighting ships have to drive very close to the burning ship in order to get the flames under control. The helpers are protected from the effects of the acrid smoke by etna activated carbon filters.

Ordnance disposal
Both the MZB Hünxe and the GEKA in Münster have specialized in the disposal of munitions. In the case of found ammunition from the 1st and 2nd World War, in particular, professional, safe disposal is essential due to chemical additives. The premises on site were equipped with room filters, explosion pressure-proof piping and weatherproof air conditioning units, among other things.
